Traditional, family-style Hospitality

The history of the Poseidon starts in 1950, when Bruno and Liliana Aonzo, who used to live in Naples together with their newborn children, Monica and Marco, decided to buy a little house between orange and lemon trees in Positano, a place where they could spend their summer holidays. 

After a few years, when Positano joined the ranks of the most exclusive seaside resorts in the world, they decided to turn their summer house into a Hotel and this is how the Poseidon, who now has 48 rooms and suites, a pool, a restaurant, a bar, a beauty centre and a private garage, was born. 

Today, thanks to the siblings Monica and Marco - in the picutre above on the beach in Positano with their Mother, Liliana - who live inside the Hotel and watch over it personally (together with part of their staff who has worked with them for more than 3 decades), the Poseidon is far from being just a hotel: 

it is a "home away from home", appreciated for its family and elegant atmosphere.
