History
The Poseidon is a beautiful story that began in 1950, when Bruno Aonzo and Liliana Del Bosco, who lived in Naples with their newborn children, Monica and Marco, decided to buy a small house among orange and lemon trees in Positano - a place to spend their summer holidays.
A few years later, as Positano became one of the most exclusive seaside destinations, they opened their doors to travelers from around the world... and thus, in 1955 the Poseidon was born.
Today, it boasts 48 rooms, a swimming pool, a restaurant, a bar, a beauty centre, and a private garage.
Currently, Monica, Marco, Liliana, and Margherita - who still live inside the Hotel and consider it their "big house" - continue the tradition, with the invaluable support of their long-standing team, with whom they share the values of Hospitality and Warmth that make the Poseidon a very special place.
